As Minc strengthens its role as the leading force in Malmö's startup ecosystem, it needs to communicate that ambition with equal clarity and conviction. To lead that work, Pilvi Brousali joins the Minc team to drive brand development and the repositioning of Minc.
Minc is continuing to develop its organization to better serve the growing startup ecosystem in Malmö and the regions ambitious founders.
The latest addition to the team is Pilvi Brousali, who joins as Head of Brand with a remit to sharpen how Minc communicates its story, its community, and its impact during this year.
"Minc has an incredible story to tell. A place where founders come with rough ideas and leave with real companies. I want more people and especially ambitious founders — in Malmö and far beyond — to know what this place actually is. That's the work I'm here to do."
— Pilvi Brousali, Head of Brand at Minc.
Pilvi brings in a broad marketing background. In previous roles such as Chief Marketing Officer and leadership team member at StickerApp, Head of Online Marketing at CDON, and Digital marketing manager at the Malmö startup Kronaby, she has gained extensive experience in brand strategy and communications as well as organizational leadership, strategy and transformation.
At Minc, Pilvi will lead the brand strategy and play a central role in how the organization speaks to founders, partners, investors, and the broader innovation community. The appointment reflects Minc's ambition to communicate more boldly and clearly at a time when its programs and community are growing in both scale and ambition.
"We are upgrading Minc into an innovation engine for the region. Who walks through our doors depends on what story we tell and Pilvi is here to make sure we tell the right one."
— [Tomas de Souza], CEO of Minc
Pilvi joins Minc at an exciting moment. The organization recently launched a dedicated games innovation program together with Game Habitat, continues to run its award-winning accelerator and incubator, and is deepening its role in Malmö's broader startup district ambitions.
Pilvi started in May.
