Hi Melinda! Tell us about yourself, and what you're working with at Minc!
Hello! I'm the Accelerator Co-Lead of Fast Track Malmö. We help startups accelerate their growth and raise capital from VCs.

How did you first get into the startup world?
I worked at Daphni, a French VC firm. I was responsible for scouting the interesting startups in the Nordics for the fund. During my time as a VC investor, I realized that you meet with a lot of founders but help and invest in only a few of them. That's when I decided to create Startup Action. For the past 2,5 years, I've coached founders regarding fundraising and metrics with my own company.

So you live in Paris, what is the best thing about living there? (Except that it is freaking Paris!!)
So many good things! I love the amazing food and the beautiful architecture. It's a big cosmopolitan city where you can find everything. I love how you can always find a new restaurant to try or a place to visit.

What are you adding to the Fast Track team and to the companies that you meet?
My experience as a VC investor is very valuable. I love coaching founders on how they can better pitch and present their startup. Since I've been on the other side of the table, I know exactly what is going around in an investor's head when they meet you.

What makes a successful entrepreneur, and what are you looking for in companies applying to accelerator FTMO?
We are looking for companies that have some traction, that seem to have a concept that works. We like to see that founders have the right mindset when they build their startups, that they think big, start small, and scale fast 🚀

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Yes, lots of them! Anything with chocolate...

The best thing about Minc?
The culture at Minc is amazing, people are super friendly and generous. I also love how Minc is great at helping founders with great advice and resources at any stage of their process, from idea stage to scale-up!
