Meet Minc: Charlotte Frank

Meet Minc: Charlotte Frank

Hi Charlotte! Tell us a bit about yourself - who are you?
I just started working at Minc in May as an Administrative Project Manager and this is the next step in my Malmö-life :) I decided to move to Malmö last year when I got the opportunity to work with the DAC6-project at Skatteverket, and I really like the city!

I moved from Gothenburg where I have been working in politics for several years. I’m an active person who (under normal circumstances) loves to travel to cities around the world and meet new people. In my daily life I spend time working out (SATS, yoga, football etc), trying out new bakeries and restaurants, and have quite recently discovered the joy of running.

What inspired you to want to work in the startup world?
I was inspired by and curious to work in an environment of energetic and creative people who are taking the journey from idea to business. Since I like to work with people and have a good sense of administrative, political, communicative, and strategic issues I thought that the role as Administrative Project Leader would be suitable. I'm quite new to the startup world, although I've had entrepreneurs in my family and many friends who have started companies.

At Minc, you also work with PreInk, a project run by Minc, Ideon Innovation, Blekinge Business Incubator, and Blekinge Institute of Technology. What is PreInk?
PreInk is an EU-financed project that aims to strengthen the support to entrepreneurs in Skåne and Blekinge. Briefly, it focuses on developing the pre-incubation process of making companies ready for an incubator. This includes attracting new entrepreneurs, increasing the flow of innovative ideas, and developing collaboration and knowledge within the innovation system. New entrepreneurs are offered coaching and access to knowledge, communities, and networks, etc. The project has been running for about a year now and will continue until 2023. I recently started my work at Minc by helping out to write a report to Tillväxtverket about the development of the project.

Lastly, what's the best thing about Minc?
The best thing is the possibility to run an idea from Startup Labs to Incubator, FTMO's accelerator and beyond! And for me personally it is of course the creative, innovative and positive environment that consists of nice and interesting people!

We are happy to have you in our team Charlotte!
