Patricia Möller is co-founder and CEO at the newly founded Start-Up Poasana - Sound Absorption, a Malmö based No-Tech company that just closed their first major funding round. Before entering the exciting world of sound absorbers Patricia worked as the Marketing Manager at Hövding - airbag for urban cyclists for 10 years.
About Poasana - sound absorption
A life lived to its fullest can be noisy, and that’s as it should be. But sometimes the sounds from a life well lived can be overwhelming. Too much of it can be tiring, resulting in headaches, sleep deprivation and lack of focus. Our modern style interiors are often minimalistic, open plan solutions featuring floor to ceiling windows and hard surfaces. The sounds have nowhere to go but to bounce around the room making us weary.
Poasana wants to improve the work/life experience by offering interiors that are attractive to the eye and soothing to the ear. We make our sound absorbers from recycled materials which offer the most effective absorption of sound (classification A, as tested by Rise). They reduce the amount of sound and eliminate the highest frequencies that affect us the most. People - adults as well as children - should be allowed to work, play, laugh or cry without having to give a second thought about how loud they might sound.

Open Desk is an opportunity to the entrepreneurs at Minc, more specifically the ones at StartupLabs, to get one-on-one advice provided by other institutions operating within the Öresund region and within the Innovation system free of charge.
