Internship - Community

Minc is looking for a Community Intern!

We're looking for an intern to join the Minc team during Fall. You'll be responsible to deliver some important events and update community processes, together with the Community Manager.

Minc is a startup house in Malmö and we believe in creating something bigger than ourselves. We offer everything an entrepreneur needs to go from concept to market in-house. Our international network of advisors and award-winning programs will help startups scale faster and smarter. Diversity and sustainability are keystones and we aim to get at least half the companies In our programs to be founded by women. We are a team of people with strong dedication to create both business value and impact for Malmö and Skåne.

Minc community is a vibrant group of active startups, alumni, investors and partners. After having to move all of our events and activities to online space, we're hoping that the Fall will bring us more gatherings in person. And boy, do we have plans! We will get busy with the events like: Nordic Female Investor Meetup, Minc Capital, Pink Programming Sunday, Tech BBQ, and many more.

Job Description

The role is about making our community more engaging, happy and to create Minc advocates, even when they leave the house. It is an important role as we are going into a busy period and we're looking for someone to helps us deliver all the planned activities and events.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and execute events together with the Community Manager
  • Day to day improvements of our internal communication channels
  • Focus on building relationships and collaborations to continue grow the Minc community
  • Optimize processes and always be open-minded to new ways of working
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders, partners, startups
  • Create and optimize newsletters, website and our internal platform
  • Participate in weekly meetings with your team
Qualifications (good to have but we understand that you are here to learn)
  • Self-motivated
  • The ability to work independently on projects
  • Tech-savy, basic design knowledge
  • Open-minded, driven and not afraid to take on a challenge
  • An interest for the startup world, events & communities
  • Great English skill with an eye for spelling and grammar
  • Studying marketing, events management, project management, communication or similar.
Additional Information
  • The position is based in Malmö
  • You will report to the Community Manager
  • This is a non-paid internship and can be part-time or full-time, depending on your studies
  • The internship needs to be 10 weeks or longer
  • Start date: August
