Business Coach - Minc Startup Labs

Minc Startup Labs is looking for a new Business Coach!

We're looking for a business coach to join the team and work with promising ideas and projects in Minc Startup Labs. It's an important position. You'll be responsible for coaching early projects in the program, help them verify their business idea and prepare for the next step - the Minc Incubator.

‍WHO YOU ARE

As a business coach, you’re an Important person to the entrepreneurs in the program. You’ll meet the entrepreneurs on a regular basis, host workshops and seminars to give the tools required to successfully build their companies. 

As a business coach, you always put the entrepreneur first. You have a broad knowledge of the crucial early stages of a company building, have your own experiences as an entrepreneur, and are well connected I Skåne to know who to contact when a field specialist or a co-founder is needed.

Working closely with the Startup Labs team, you will discuss the progress of the projects, and help develop the Startup Labs to make sure we maintain our position as one of the best pre-Incubation programs in Scandinavia.

As a business coach, you’re an inspiration to others. You’re comfortable in talking before a crowd, and you have a way with words. We expect you to enjoy giving inspirational talks about Minc in order to secure a high-quality dealflow and to strengthen relationships with strategic partners.

‍YOU WILL:

• Do business coaching of startups in the Startup Labs program
• Evaluate applications and be part of decisions regarding dealflow to Startup Labs
• Be part of developing the Minc Startup Labs process and Minc in general
• Hold workshops with the Startup Labs entrepreneurs
• Give talks and take part in networking activities to build strategic alliances and secure a good dealflow to the Minc
• Be a part of projects managed by MINC
• Do outreach to NGOs, networks, and others where we can create value for MINC and Malmö city
• Speak Swedish and can use English in your daily work

WE EXPECT YOU TO:

• Be an experienced business developer with a coaching approach
• Have experience from being a founder of a growth company or taking part in one
• Have a strong urge to help people and companies to grow and develop
• Always feel curious about new ideas, business models, technical advancement and to get to know new people
• Be acquainted-with different models such as Business Model Canvas, NABC, and the Mom Test
• Be an outspoken team player, yet strong in self-management
• Feel comfortable in giving talks and advice in both Swedish and English
• Have a broad network of people and partners who can help startups
• Have an established network in Skåne / Malmö

ABOUT STARTUP LABS

Startup Labs is our program for the very early projects and entrepreneurs - we are looking for people that would like to build something bigger than themselves. Startup Labs take in 40-60 projects every year and about 15 % continues to the Incubator. The aim with the program is to give early entrepreneurs the tools they need to develop and verify their idea and get an understanding of the potential and what it may take to finance it.
